Panel
Here's a couple of pictures of my panel. I used panel planner to do it, and ended up creating 14 full-size print outs before I was satisfied. I would print a design that I thought I would like, and then hung it on the hangar wall and tried chair flying. It's amazing the things you figure out by doing it that way. That's why it took 14 renditions, but printing paper was a whole lot cheaper than cutting aluminum. One of my goals was to have as much as possible on the pilot's side. So far (500 hours), I've been very pleased with my choice. It sure is wonderful to be able to build the panel in a way that works best for you. :)

Why
In the first set of photos, you have a mask over the EIS, and in the second set, you dont.
Is it something you added, or removed?? And why?? |
I added the cover to the Grand Rapids EIS. Stein had them, and maybe still does. It looks a little more finished to me.
