Mounted To Engine Before Hangine the Engine?

Is there a list of things which must be installed on the engine before mounting it on an RV-3B? And hopefully, another list of things that should not be installed prior to that?

Thanks!

The main thing is the fitting for the oil pressure line!

David - given the very tight clearance between the engine and firewall, I’d mount everything that you can on the back of the engine before putting it in place. Mel pointed out the oil pressure fitting - if you don’t do that, you might literally have to pull the engine to put one on. Everything else will be difficult enough to work on that you might WANT to pull the engine…..

Oil cooler lines, ignitions, prop governor (if applicable) - all are hard to get to on a -3.
