Interior covers rear vents, possible fixes?

I’m finally getting around to putting an interior in my plane and it covers up the stock rear vents. I’m thinking that maybe I can cut a hole and install an automotive type vent but then I still have to figure out a control to manipulate the vent flap.

If anyone has done something like this before I’d appreciate any info you have.
Thanks

Nick

Any vent that you can put a slot for the lever would work. I personally did all Aerosport interior and their versions worked great.

In our opinion, it is really depends on whether you have an overhead console with vents. With our we have 8 vents and side vents are not necessary. We also have the side panels covered with real leather that is a good option for the finishing of the walls. We will be glad to help you to find the best solution, just give us a call. SFSA another possible solution

Here is an image of our side vent with one of our side panels.
