We can still have nice things.....
Corona curve smashing is not much fun for anyone, but I can socially isolate and still find some beauty out there.
Sunsets over the Mississippi still get me every time. Tonight was a keeper. Just upriver of Hastings things looked pretty sweet....... Lock and Dam just off the wingtip...... Whole lotta fun at less than 5 GPH. They practically pay you to haul away mogas these days....ok not quite, but still.... Speaking of beautiful, Moxie is lonely, locked-in Boxer practically advertising for date with that day-glo collar! Spring is happening in the northern tundra - get out to enjoy it, alone, or with a furry best friend!! |

The only photo that I could see was the "lock and dam" photo. The others showed up as a gray circle with a white minus sign.
The photo issues continue to baffle me! |
Thumbs UP
Thumbs up, Pete!!! Another good addition to the sunset album.

Nice Pete. That's my early evening flying "fix" as well out of Fleming to Red Wing and back.
|
I flew this morning near the Atlantic coast and over the St. Johns River. May be the last time for a while as we're going on shutdown in Florida. It was a wonderful respite from the real world below.

Always great to see the old stomping grounds Pete - when I was learning to fly in the J-3 back when the runway was down by the University flight facilities, just going to the St. Croix was a cross-country!
