Rib Flange Faceting

Ribs

I am struggling with how to shape-deburr the nose of the rib flanges. Even if I remove only a little bit to shape the nose section, the rib radius becomes very thin. How do others accomplish this? Any photos?

That looks fine. I don't remember filing any down unless they were causing a problem. I remember the tank ribs needed some love.
Helps to tell us what component. Maybe I missed it.

VS rib

It was the top rib on the VS. I am about to do the bottom nose rib, so I wanted to double check.

Ahhh. I still think it's good but watch closely as you cleko to be sure it doesn't make a crease (outie) in the skin. Bottom rib is less prone but always check.

Advice I received from Gus Fennell when he was at Vans:
Use a disc sander to provide a smooth curve around the nose of the ribs. This will thin them out in some areas, but will allow the skin to fit smoothly. Not a structural issue.
