Epoxy/Flox suggestion

JFCRV12

Well Known Member
He there, didn't build my plane and wheel pants aren't done. About to get that project actually going...for real this time :)

Anyway, in the directions, it says to use an epoxy/flox mixture to 'bed' the bracket. No problem.. But, I can't find in the intro section what kinds of epoxy and flox to use and it appears there are a bunch of options.

Obviously, I do not need much. Any recommendations of what to buy from Spruce or anywhere else for that matter?

Thanks!
John

West Systems

Most builders use West Systems 105 epoxy and 205 or 206 hardener. One is slow. One is fast cure. I prefer working time. Flox is cotton. You may want to reach out to local builders for a small amount. The amount AS sells is enough for a lifetime. Marine stores may have the products as well.
