EIS4000 AMP wiring

Hi,

I'm missing a piece of documentation somewhere.... I've got the 'green rings' for AMP measurement, but no details on the green / black / blue wires - I'm guessing 4.8V excitation, ground plus signal - but which is which?

Thanks,

Carl

Green - Output to EIS auxiliary input
Black - Ground
Blue to 4.8v output from EIS

Here is a spec sheet for a like sensor: http://www.ampsolution.com/AMP200,300.pdf

email me I'll send you a copy of the instructions. There is too much to post. My address is in my forum profile.

Here are the highlights.

One caution is DON'T wire the blue wire to aircraft power or the sensor is shot!

The auxiliary scale factor, auxiliary offset, fwd/rev sensing settings.

For -100 to 100 amps (software version 45 and above needed)
Sense: Fwd
Scale factor: 186
Aux offset: 357 (adjust by 2 counts at a time if a small change is needed to read zero, must remain odd)

For -50 t0 50 amps (sw version 45 plus needed)
Sense: Fwd
Scale factor: 93
Aux offset: 177 (adjust by 2 counts if needed)
Loop wire through sensor two times

The above settings are used with a non decimal point aux format and the resolution is 1 amp.

If you have sw version prior to 45 there are differnt factors.

Good on U mate!
