Pocatello Area Q.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an overnight stop in the Pocatello area?

Usual things, transport into town, nearby hotels, prefer cheap fuel, something interesting to see in town in the afternoon, etc?

Flight is from the SLC area to Kallispel, MT so any airport within 50 niles of Pocatello along the route will be OK.

Looks like Rigby and Preston have the cheap gas. I've enjoyed Preston (57nm to the South of Poc). The Preston airport IIRC had a car for less than 10 bucks so you can get wherever you want to visit. If you go to Preston you'll have to check out the movie Napolean Dynamite before you go. Filmed right there in Preston.
