How many government projects can you name that worked as designed, AND/OR were on budget??

Looks like it will be a good thing if they can implement it properly. :)

About the same number of large company projects that were on time and under budget! :) Last time I checked, the government doesn't actually do anything any more, they contract it out to Lockheed-Martin.

I agree that it will be better than what is there today, but they are still solving the problem with 1960's thinking and technology.
 
Looks like we're not even on the proposed roll-out schedule for at least the next 4 years. That's not comforting. We had a mid-air here last year--within view of a tower.

Just curious Mickey, how is ADS-B 60's technology? Looks like a better implementation than TIS, which only works in terminal areas.
