I have put together both the HS and VS with little or no issues, and now have myself pretty stumped.
I cannot figure out how to put the stiffeners in, in relation to the trailing edge.
I cut the stiffeners to the length spec’ed in the plans but the measurements just don’t add up!
On the plans sheet, they show a 10.5 inch measurement for the top of the skin, the bottom shows 19.5 inches, and this is where the problem lives. It puts the spar at an angle, not leaving much room for the bend. A straight line drawn from the 10.5 inch top line shows a nice even area that leaves plenty to bend. This would mean that I need to trim the stiffeners that are now too long.
The 19.5 inch measurement on the plans has really thrown me for a loop, the stiffeners line up down the 15 ¼ inch one.
I hope this is not to convoluted but this will keep me spinning until I either get some help or figure it out, so please help!
