The RV-1 Needs an ELT! (Sometimes)

OK Community, the RV-1 is going to be flying and completely legal for US operations in a pretty short time. Since it is a single-seater, an ELT is not required - so long as we keep it in the US of A.

But....part of this summer's tour is going to take it in to Canada, and for that, it is going to need a working ELT. I am pretty sure that with a little work, we can find a vendor who'd like to supply one, but I would not be surprised if there is a VAF'er out there somewhere with an extra ELT that they might donate to the cause. We won't actually need it until the may time frame - if you might be able to help, let us know here or via a PM.

Remember - donations to "Friends of the RV-1" are tax deductible!!

I have an AK-450 if you feel that would be appropriate for your needs. It is new with the exception of the antenna which is the older style metal one.
