Just Messed Up!!!

I made some very nice foam moulds for making some inlet transitions for my plenum setup on the RV-10.

Layed up the glass really nice and all turned out like I wanted but I din not check the type of foam I was using this time and found out it will not dissolve with paint thinner, or accitone. I think it it PVC foam looking back. Is there a way to get rid of it aside from chipping away at it with a screwdriver? this stuff is tough.

Yeah, just chip it out. I spent 2 hours yesterday chipping out the pour foam I used to fabricate a custom snorkel on my stock Vans -10 cowling.

I was afraid of that!!!

MEK should dissolve it - but it may be faster to chip it out.

Dremel tool works great for that.
