MGL Autopilot?

I am installing an MGL Mini Extreme in my panel and understand it has the brain of an autopilot built-in, just add a servo. Is anyone using this with either the Tru-Trak servo or the MGL servo? Is the MGL servo available yet? I found a thread indicating a price point of around $1000, but can't find where to buy one.

Either way, looking for a pirep on the MGL autopilot if anyone is using it...

Hi James,

The MGL servos are available from Matt at MGL Avionics in California. The servos work great, a system just installed in a Questair Venture even at 300MPH it is rock steady. You won't go wrong. Needless to say the Trutrak servos will not work with MGL products.

I meant to say Trio servos as those are what's listed on MGL's site as compatible. I just got the name mixed up because I was reading up on Tru Trak as well.

Also, I don't think the autopilot has been added to the MGL mini extreme firmware just yet. Hopefully that happens sometime this summer. Possibly around Oshkosh?
