Hi Guys,
I thought I'd share some troubleshooting and a fix in the remote chance it might help someone out. Twice now I've had the situation where my EMS-D10 goes in into a constant bootloop. The first time, I spent considerable time on the phone with the great guys at Dynon - they walked me thru things but we could not Isolate the fault - They had me send the unit in and it benchchecked fine.
Issue ended up being s broken wire to the carb temps sensor(Dynon sent me an email and asked me to check it - Bingo). It would ground itself after a few min in flight and cause the EMS to bootloop. Fixed the wire, no more bootloops.
Bootloop happened again today on the taxi out as the wife and I were headed south to do some geocaching. Before he bootloop, I noticed a odd high oil pressure..... So I pulled the cowls and cleaned up the oil pressure connection and the ground to that sensor - Booyah! No more bootloop!
Check grounds and connections if your EMS goes wonky!
