Kennett KTKX

Kennett is a nice airport with long runways and good fuel prices. Pumping equipment outdated but operational. There is a plaza within walking distance and McDonalds restaurant just across the field. There is a gate in the fence leading to that restaurant. Super8 Motel right there too.

Clean terminal with cushy chairs and a nice lounge. Heavens for transients. Lock your rudder it's windy there :)

Clinto, MO (KGLY)

My wife and I flew our RV 9A down to Texas from Wisconsin last week for a little break from the cold. We stopped at Clinton, MO on the way home due to weather, the people who run the airport and Tom the gentleman that lives there, were great.
They got us a Hanger for $5.00 for the night,100ll fuel was reasonable, and they gave us a car to use for topping it off. We stayed at the Hampton in town and had a great meal within walking distance of the hotel. As it turned out we were happy to stop for the evening, just another example of great people in aviation.
