Tru Trak Service Bulletin

Tru Trak has a service bulletin that addresses the possibility that the servo arm retaining screw might come loose. They will send you a bracket for free that will fix the problem.

My roll servo screw retainer was no problem. My pitch servo retainer had a clearance problem with the bracket that the servo is mounted on. Here is a picture to show the interference:



I will grind an arc in the servo mounting bracket to clear the screw retainer bracket.

Before you do that, please read this thread. I don't think you need to grind any material from your servo mounting bracket.

Thanks Buck, I looked but didn't search for the right key words to find that thread.

I haven't cut any material yet, and I don't want to. That was just my first thought. I don't like the ideas of cutting off the wrap around either. Looks to me like I'll have to send in the servo to get the new configuration.
