I am looking for a customer for a show engine for Sun-N-Fun Fly-in
This engine is in process
Lycoming IO-540 great for a RV-10
Engine was removed from a piper Aztec damaged in Hurricane Charley
O-540-A1C5 sn#L-8653-40 / Converted too Wide Deck and to include Fuel Injection. Engine overhaul using the factory recommended replacement parts and procedures for engine overhaul in applicable Lycoming overhaul manual 60294-7. Overhauled to with-in and exceeding Factory New Limits.
All factory recommended replacement parts for engine overhaul.
Crankshaft gear modification per AD
Crankcase Certified (Divco Inc.)
Crankshaft Certified & Balanced
Camshaft Certified
Re-Man Cylinders Aero / (ECI) with new steel bores
Matched weight pistons (exactly to the gram)
Bendix Fuel Injection system (Precision Air)
New Unison (Slick) Magnetos
New Ignition Harness & Plugs
New fuel pump
New high torque starter (Sky-Tec)
All new external engine hardware
Intake pipes, valve covers, etc. powder coated finish
Engine tested in accordance with Lycoming SI 1427-B (after the show)
Engine pickled for storage in accordance with Lycoming SI
$28,000.00
All applicable ADs will be complied with during the engine overhaul and a complete compliance list will be provided with complete documentation for the engine and work performed.
