Squadron of P-51s

We have a great gathering of RV's at the Chino airshow every year, but
it is really about the Warbirds. I counted 16 P-51's so far and they expect
20 with at least 2 A models (one is an A-36) and 2 B/Cs. The real suprise
is not from these shores. Haven't seen it yet, but heard it flew just briefly
yesterday. It has a round engine and an Iron Cross painted on the side.

I will be there with my camera. My RV9A is still at 90/90. Those system installs never seem to end.

Oh, I will also be serving up the Hot Dogs!

I am part of the EAA Chapter that is bringing the food. We are planning on roughly 120 Hot Dogs, Drinks, Chips and maybe carrots or something for a bit of a healthy alternative. See you there.
 
Rocket Dogs

I'm flying in from Cable Airport with Fred Laforge (Call Sign: "Flintstone") in his new Rocket. We'll be cooking hot dogs along with Peter McCoy and other EAA 448 members. Below is a picture of Fred's Rocket (that's my wife, Pam, in the back seat; she likes aerobatics!)

Y'All Come Over to Chino! (Full afterburner rehearsals are in-progress as I type this!)
