Autopilots, GPS, and Dynon D-180 integration

I just installed a TruTrak Digiflight II in my Glasair. The problem I'm having is that after setting the output on my 396 to the TruTrak suggested setting of NMEA IN / NMEA OUT, I now notice that the Dynon is no longer getting any of the GPS data that makes the HSI work correctly and to calculate wind.

Can anyone help me? Surely there's a way to make the Garmin 396 provide data to both the TruTrak and the Dynon at the same time.

Soooo, are you saying that all I need to do is switch the GPS to normal instead of fast and it will "talk" to both the Dynon and the TruTrak?

Yep, as long as you have all the baud rates and data types the same and you have the advanced NMEA setting set to normal it will work.
