Tip: Cabin Fuel Line

After forming a nice pile of scrap 3/8" fuel line in my shop, I decided to try and simplify the process. I attached -6 AN fittings to the 2 innermost cover support ribs, and ran the line from the outside of the fuselage to this point. I then found it much easier to fabricate, on my bench, the remaining line from the connector to the fuel valve. I did the same with my brake lines. Before doing so, I ran it by Van's who thought it was a good idea. Since doing this I did an advanced search here, and did find a similiar post burried in a model specific forum, but I thought I would share this here to maybe spare someone else the frustration I went through! Leaving the gear mount and cover support rib loose helps quite a bit.

I missed that tip and had my mounts all installed and torqued. Good idea. Glenn.
