I live north of Dallas, but my 7-year old daughter lives in Leander. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that 77T was just down the road from her. Currently, I have access to a Cessna T206 on occasion, and the RV-8 will hopefully be done in a year or two. One of my many motivators to finishing the RV is being able to fly down to see her and/or bring her up to Dallas quicker and more often. However, my turf experience is extremely limited (just a few takeoffs and landings for the private license to be exact). I've been into Georgetown a couple times, but sure would like to use Kittie Hill if it is suitable. Can anybody tell me about the runways and airport in general? Pros? Cons? Thanks.
