Paint: thought someone might find this interesting

I have been researching paints to use. mainly looking at waterbourne polyurethane. to see if its worth trying, or will it go to **** in 10 yrs.
anyway for what its worth I found this in my researching.
like to know what people think.

Zero-VOC

Is that what you are researching? A zero-VOC paint for an RV? If so, what have you found out?

mainly looking at the stewart systems paint that everyone is talking about.
its a waterbourne polyurethane that doesn't have isocyanates in it. which are pretty nasty healthwise and envirowise. thats why they call it zero voc.

Stewart Systems

I have used the Stewart Systems smoke gray primer for most of the interior parts of my RV-10. I scotchbrite, acid-etch, and rinse the surfaces and then apply about 3 coats. When I take my time and the result has been very smooth and durable. I typically mix in about 25% water. It sticks and cures much better than the stinky self-etching Duplo primer I used on small batches of parts now and then. I am not comfortable enough with my skill to undertake the exterior painting, and so will resort to a paint shop who will probably use more conventional, high-VOC paints.
