:confused:Gents (and Ladies), you all know what I mean...
..although right now I'd rather have a steak sandwich!

Those two brake lines and one fuel line running between the firewall and the F4 bulkhead. The plans say to "sandwich them" inside some foam. Any technologies developed for the job?

I made a rack of uhmw plastic so the lines snap in. if I was to do it again, I would use tyrap pads prosealed to the floor & tyraps. also notice I cut the big cover in half added a lip 2 nutplates....Much more manageable.

I saw at least three methods. First was drilled and split delrin blocks the type we use on rudder pedals, flap actuators etc. Second was expandable foam from pressurized can and third builder used packing foam from Cleaveland brakes box. I did the third one. I can not post a picture now and do not have websites for reference ready. Provide me with your email address and I will send you a picture or two how I did that.

My suggestion is in Post #5. With the benefit of hindsight, foam may not be the best solution as most foams would give off smoke and fumes if there was an engine fire which heated up the floor area.
