No I didnt paint her. It took a 4 person crew 10 days to get her done. When the last coat of clear went on, the heater we had brought down ran out of diesel and the temp dropped rapidly causing a huge sag all along both sides. we used Diamonte paint and clear, which is extremely hard when dry, so two of those days were fixing the sag. This was the painters first airplane however. I helped and tried to absorb as much info as I could, as well as doing the disassembly.

It ran about 10k to paint. Didnt start out being that much, but it took $3600 in product alone. I dont think the Doc figured it was going to be that much though. Glad I didnt have to pay for it!
