I cheerfully admit to being very, very cautious about fillers, surfacers, and anything else under an expensive paint job.
I was on the Wicks site this AM ordering some stuff and noticed a listing for "Fiberglass Pinhole Filler", Akzo Nobel 28C1, (#28C1-G, $105.31).

The material data sheet describes an application method like Lohle Wonder-Fil ($179 gal); rub/wipe into the surface, let dry, rub off.

Searching turned up specific references to 28C1 ("apply this") in literature from major composite industry players like Henkel. Also seems to be on the qualified products list for all the major airframe manufacturers.
Anybody have experience working with this product, or information regarding long term durability?
Addendum, 4-5-09: just checked the Wicks catalog again. The price has doubled in less than two months!
