3M Wheels

Question re: 3M Wheels

Hello,

got a question about the 3M wheels needed for building an RV-8.
The Avery/Cleav kits seem to come with one cut & polish and one Scotch Brite wheel.

Does anyone have the 3M part numbers for these two supplied wheels?

Also, does anyone recommend additional wheels, in addition to the two mentioned above?

Part numbers? Ya' got me

I believe the Avery kit only comes with the Cut&Polish wheel. I also picked up the light polishing wheel (I think Avery just started carrying this...I had to get mine from Cleaveland earlier this year). It comes in real handy for putting a really nice polished edge on parts. There's a whole lot of planes that were built without this wheel, though.
