Antennas

I am installing dual sl30s and would like to have a nav/GS antenna other than the Cat whisker style you can get from vans. Anyone have an idea what type I can use and best possible location for it....

The Archer nav wingtip antenna works great! My homemade 40" stripped coax marker beacon antenna also works great. Good to get 'em out of the slipstream.

We have the SL30 in "Papa Juliette" and use the Archer wingtip antenna for NAV. We also have his marker beacon antenna.

They work fine.

The com antenna is the Comant external antenna.
If you are in the area, I will show it to you if needed or at lead fill you in on the installation.
