Today I took the cowl parts to the water hose expecting the usual few minutes work to scrub off some Partall #10 (green) mold release remaining after mods done late last year. We all "know" PVA mold release washes off with water, and it does, easily...... if you don't leave it on your fiberglass a few months.
Washing didn't work. Soaking didn't work. Scrubbing with scotchbrite didn't work. Even a SS wire brush didn't work. Took about an hour to scrape it off with a knife blade. Lesson learned.
