I want to see more RVs out flying.
I see some of my dear friends selling their RVs due to age,
Do not let your project sit idle, get on it, or get help!

58 yrs

I am 58 and hope to fly until 80, but who knows?
My biggest regret is not starting flying younger. I started at 38.
I have over 3000 hours TT Single/Multi.Comerical Inst, land
Over 1500 hours in RVs. That is a lot of fun!
I built my first RV6 standard kit in 18 months. Three of witch was full time as I had no job.

I am thirty eight now and have been flying for 8 years. A personal goal is to be flying my RV by the time I am 40, but if I don't, I don't.

Forty one ain't so old to have an RV.

Getting help

Jay, I'm curious how much help a builder's assistance shop can be before you start running into problems with whether or not the airplane is amateur built (and if it isn't can you even get an airworthiness certificate) and how about the 51% rule? At what point does the owner/builder risk his ability to get their repairman's certificate?

Don...fifty something and plugging away on the fuselage hoping to be in the air with it late 06.

I need RV 8s

We build it together.

I have done it,many times, so we don't have to study the plans. I give the owner a job he can do ,and make our work effecient. and you have your RV this year.
Come and visit so we are on the same page before we try to work together.
Call Mel Asberry 972 784 7544 for the details of your Question
Cheers
