We have a family reunion at Lake Okiboji in the next few weeks. Can any locals give me the low down on the local aiports? Milford(Fuller), Spirit Lake and Spencer are all pretty close.

We used Milford on this trip. E-W runway fine for an RV. Cheap gas $4.60 (police will unlock pump) $4 night for grass tiedown.
It all worked just fine.

Spencer has two long runways and have been very cordial the times I have flown in there. Don't know about their fuel prices but they put the plane in a hangar for a fee. Milford is closer but I haven't landed there. Spirit Lake is right off the lake but looked a little tight when I looked at it. The runway listed cracks and roughness last I looked a couple of years ago. Nice vacation spot.
