I see you have some flaps deployed as if you are / were in a landing configuration. Looks like a high speed pass and you pulled up hard on the stick? I love doing that.

Cool picture! I was doing that about an hour ago in my -9. Freakin' awesome climb this time of year - inspite of all I ate last night!

I use about 1/3 flaps for soft field (grass) takeoff. The photo was from an intial takeoff.

So much for:

Pitch for airspeed & throttle for altitude...

As some students seem to be only taught, the above phrase....

This pic is a prime example that elevator makes more sense for "immediate" altitude in this particular situation!
