Need an example of an Annual Condition Inspection List

Tom Meeker

I'm New Here
Hey, I need a generic (or maybe not so generic) annual inspection list that I can use as a template for my personal annual inspection list. This is for an RV-6 but an RV-6a list will work. If anyone has one would you be willing to email an electronic copy of it to me? Then I can take that and modify it for my specific needs. Here's my email address: [email protected]

Thanks!!!

Or another option...

You could also get a copy of FAR 43 and go to appendix "D".

All of the operating limitations I have ever seen require your log book entry to be similar too..

I certify this ?????? (airframe, engine, propeller) has been inspected in accordance with FAR 43 Appendix D and it was found to be in a condition for safe operation.

With this being the case, it is a good idea to at least be familiar with what it says in appendix D.

Here is a LINK to the FAA web site with FAR 43 Appendix D.

Also please note that in the first statement it says that the aircraft and engine must thoroughly cleaned.
I can't count the number of aircraft I've seen that "just came out of annual" and have a belly covered with grease!

mel is right

Mel is so right.... cannot find a crack under 2 cm of dirt.... or like some of my other customers after a year of flying... 2 inches and the small lake in the back of the fuselage.... and they wonder why the plane is so tail heavy. One customer flies so much... we do an annual twice a year... Treat her like a lady and she will take care of you.... I promise.
Best
