What Sensenich Prop for RV-8?

I will be running a 180 HP clone. Most flying will be using airports near sea level. I would like to bias the prop towards cruise rather than climb. The 72FM series will be my choice, but I would like suggestions on pitch. Vans suggests using the 85" pitch. Since I am looking for better cruise than climb, would an 87" pitch be better and yet still climb reasonably well?
Thanks in advance for all opinions...I'm too cheap to pop for a CS prop.

I had a Sensie 72x85 on my -8, 180 aerosport - all stock. The cruise was very acceptable, but the climb was lacking. I obtained a Catto 3bl 66x76. The cruise performance was very close, maybe -1kt due to the l/e tape application. The takeoff and climb performance were greatly inproved, as was the noise level. Again, both propellers will cruise right along with a c/s, and in some cases, outrun them. The only downside to any fixed pitch is the acceleration and the braking effect. The Catto prop would be my choice.
