Ground adjustable rudders

Hey Guys,
I was working on the rudders in my QB fuse tonight and when you lay the angle down for the ground adjust rudders they don't lay flush on the F-822 skin. I already drilled some of the universal head rivets out and replaced them with cs4-4 pop rivets according to the plans. But do you have to bend the angles to fit over the angles at the firewall and gear boxes?

Hi Kirk,

Those angles should already have a joggle bent into them at each end. It would be pretty hard to bend them yourself. Are you saying that the joggles aren't high enough to allow the angles to lie down flush on the floor or that they aren't there at all?

Hey thanks for the replys, I do believe I got a bad set from vans. Mine had no joggle in them. I'll give Vans a call on monday.
