HF (High Frequency)

Has any one installed a HF comms on their RV and if so, any recommended antenna configurations?

I think John Johanson has one.
And I seem to remember it is a trailing type with a small plastic funnel on the end of the wire that is wound out.

Have done some research since I posted that question. Will be wingtip-rudder-wingtip arrangement with solid fibreglass insulators and marine hardware (shackles & saddles) to fix it in place. I'm a "ham" radio operator and also will be travelling to NZ from OZ occassionally.
