So I've been spending the last 2 months cleaning out the garage, getting the larger tools ready, doing some planning. We're really getting close to starting the build.
I've emptied the 2-car garage nearly 90%. Added a work bench and two castered worktables. Added a bandsaw, drill press, air compressor, bench grinder, belt sander (9" w/disk) and a 1" belt sander.
I just got off the phone and ordered the toolkit. It should arrive with a DRDT2 on Tuesday.
Next up is the RV-10 tailkit.
I got some other good news too. It's looking like my parents will be moving from Florida to Houston in the very near future, so I might have a chance to include my dad in the build.
I've decided to wait on ordering the tail kit, just to see how their situation plays out. But we aren't far off.
We're about to have another RV-10 underway in Texas.....
