Lately as summer has moved in full tilt here in Florida, I am noticing what I believe to be a heat problem with the Ryan 9900B (AKA Avidyne TS610) receiver. It works fine on the first flight of the day when every thing is cool. When you stop for fuel and the sun is beaming down on the aircraft, the receiver does not want to come back up after its afternoon shake N bake.
Anybody else have a similar problem with this unit and if so, what was your resolution? If you have a large traffic receiver in your aircraft, where did you mount it?
