Iím installing the Garmin AP servo in the pitch location on my 14, The bellcrank bearing center to the pre drilled hole for the servo arm connection is 2 3/4 in. Looking over the G3X manual on the model 10 drawing, that hole is at 2 1/2 in from center. Garmin does not have model 14 data I can find so far and Vans tells me it should be same as 10 model. What have you done in this install?

I installed the servo that came with the kit.

The Van's servo kit comes with very specific installation instructions including which holes to use etc.

See section 56 here: https://www.vansaircraft.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/RV-14_56.pdf

Yes I have this thank you, I am talking about the Vans supplied bellcrank, not the Garmin servo arm. Vans makes no mention about the pre drilled hole on their bellcrank other then to final drill it, Garmin notes this hole needs to be 2.5 from center, mine shipped at 2.75. This is a very large difference in torque and travel on the crank.

I installed per Van's instructions and it worked fine.
