A shoutout to Jerry and company at Trio Avionics. Doing my final inspections to get ready for Vic?s inspection I encountered a very daunting problem with my new EZ Pilot.
I say new but in reality I bought this thing in 2005 after being dazzled by a demo at Oshkosh. Come on, it?s a obsolete SLOW BUILD RV6-A. This stuff takes time.
14 year old autopilot and Trio treated me like I just purchased it and solved the problem by upgrading it with new firmware at no charge. It amazes me how great RV suppliers are and what a great community we have here. :):)

I?ll second that. I have an easy-pilot in my -4.....that I didn?t build. Jerry and the boys treated me as if I were the original purchaser of the easy-pilot and updated the software at no charge and even talked me through the re-setup process. If I ever need another stand-alone autopilot, it?ll be a Trio.
