Keyless drill chuck issue, Dewalt

While I like my Dewalt corded and cordless drills, the cheap keyless chucks suck. I've seen this on others, so I know it's not just mine. The problem is that the drill bits wobble (especially on the small bits, or at least it's more noticeable). It seems the chuck does not tighten the jaws evenly or something. My old Black and Decker keyed chuck is fine, and in fact my older Dewalt keyless seemed much better.

Can anyone recommend a decent replacement keyless chuck?

Thanks,
Mike

ROHM is probably the best, but pricey at around $55-60.
Cordless drills are produced for general use, and may not have the most accurate spindles, so it may not be the chuck.

If you can re-chuck the drill bit and get the bit to center only occationally,
then it's the drill chuck that's pooched (and not the spindle) If the c/less
drill is new...return it! Black&Decker (Dewalt/Delta/PorterCable/Devilbis all owned by B&D) have a "No Hassle" return policy. Across the counter exchange within the first 90 days etc.
