Hello,
I'm considering installation of a forward facing sump on my RV-6 project.
Have not yet bought an engine but will go with a O360 clone. I'm leaning to FI. I would rather have a forward facing sump, but I already have the 6 cowl for the O360A1A.
What is the best path if I decide to go this route?
Sell cowl and buy one for an RV-7 with forward facing sump and van's kit for doing this on the RV-7?
Modify RV-6 cowl to fit?
Get Van's airbox for the FWF RV-7 and use it as a model and make or hack one up to fit?
Are there other third party solutions that exist for this application?
Don't be so picky and just install the dern vertical draft FI system and live with the big scoopy thing?
