I am a military aviator with the rare (for the military) qualifications (as well as contacts in the Orlando FSDO) to pursue a DPE (helicopters and fixed wing).
Does anyone have any experience/tips for me to try to make myself more competitive? I have been sniffing around and there seems to not be any DPE's in military uniform...I have been looking into this and others things as a way to tie military aviators to GA in order to increase the exposure and try to get some more GA people to keep the spirit alive! Believe it or not, many military aviators look at it as a job and don't really want to fly after the military!
