Bubble in Inclinometer of Turn and Bank Indicator

I recently got a Mid Continent electric Turn and Bank Indicator, PN 1394T100-7Z. It has a small (maybe 1/4") bubble of air in the inclinometer, and I would like to know if there is a simple way to remove it. I don't mind sending it to an avionics shop, if necessary, but first I'd like to know how hard it would be to fix it. Could an AP take care of it? How would the bubble have gotten in there to begin with?

There should be a "hump" on one side of the tube intended to house the bubble.

If the bubble is visible in the tube, try "banking" the instrument 90? left or right and the bubble should disappear into it's "home".

Duh! I didn't think this through.

The T&B indicator had just come in the mail and was pretty cold when I noticed it. I went back to look at it after your answer, and the bubble is smaller.

Chalk it up to user error (to be kind to me).
