Losing Foreflight WiFi Connection with Dynon HDX

I am flying with the iPad loaded with Foreflight. I use Foreflight to plan the route and load it to the Dynon HDX using the WiFi connection. Other convinience is I can replan while in flight and update the Dynon flight plan while flying. However, sometimes, I get a WiFi dropout from the Dynon HDX. When this happen, I lose the plane GPS location and other navigational information on the Foreflight. I could not update the flight plan, or get the track log for the duration when the WiFi was dropped.

Has anyone experienced the similar WiFi issue? And have you found a solution?

I searched the Dynon Forum and it seems to be a problem but I haven't found a solid solution yet.

Thanks.

All. The. Time.

Sorry, no solution other than I have “heard” of some new WiFi dongles from Dynon. Seems crazy to require each Dynon screen to have a WiFi adapter in AP mode within the same aircraft and only a few feet apart. As an IT tech I would NEVER locate 2 access points a few feet away from each other. IT Rant off…
