#4:  This was installed in a flying RV as an oil breather hose.  What's wrong with this picture? (answer below)

Answer:
   1. It's automotive hose (not aircraft) choked down to another automotive hose.  Not only the wrong hoses, but...
   2. the clamp was so tight that air/oil flow was reduced to almost nothing.

Solution:
Replace with Mil 6000 hose (one accepted solution) of the same inside diameter as the fitting on the engine.  Also, some foks use a combination of Mil 6000 hose and aluminum tubing.  You can order Mil 6000 hose from Van's (www.vansaircraft.com/cgi-bin/webstore.cgi) and several other sources.  Google 'Mil 6000 Hose'.
